What ALL MARCHING BAND MEMBERS Need for Band Camp!
-Show music and warmups in a three-ring binder with plastic sheet protectors. A shoe string works great as a strap to hold your binder as you learn your music on the move.
-Your drill coordinate sheets.

-Thermos/Water jug for warm rehearsals at all times
-Sunscreen and a beach towel
-Walking shoes (no open-hole ones)

- Sidewalk chalk (more than one piece!)
-For wind players: we recommend having chapstick that has SPF on it.
-Hat/sunglasses to wear for outside
-3/4" inch PVC Pipe (90" long and marked correctly four 22.5" intervals)

-Eat a good breakfast before coming to camp (not 5 minutes before)
-A packed lunch (or one brought to you, if you leave for lunch use your time wisely). The high school cafeteria does provide a lunch everyday if you cannot bring one.

What is the proper clothing?
We will be spending a lot of time out in the sun doing physical, taxing activity. You need to dress light and avoid dark clothing. SCHOOL DRESS CODE APPLIES.
T-shirts (please avoid spaghetti straps)
Shorts
Thin, short socks
Comfortable tennis/athletic shoes (No open toe shoes)
Hats (Baseball caps preferred, NO winter caps)
Sunglasses

Also….It is your responsibility to be prepared for the weather. On occasion, we will practice in the rain and/or in chillier weather. School dress code still applies, and the following are acceptable and recommended for rainy/cooler weather:
Jacket
Raincoat
Rain poncho
Hats
Beach towels (to dry yourself)
